Jerald Monahan

Law Enforcement Liaison, End Violence Against Women International

Jerald Monahan is a 40 year public safety official having served in several Arizona law enforcement agencies. He currently is the Chief of Police for Yavapai College in Prescott Arizona and also serves as the Law Enforcement Liaison for the Non-Profit Criminal Justice Training Organization, End Violence Against Women International. Chief Monahan has served on several boards and commissions involved in addressing issues of domestic and sexual violence and is the current Advisory Board Chairperson for the National Center for the Prevention of Community Violence. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police, serving as President of that board in 2013. Chief Monahan holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership with an Emphasis on Crisis Management and disaster preparedness from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in the Administration of Justice from Central Arizona College. He is a graduate of the FBI’s National Academy, the 230th Session, Sept. 2007
