Anisha is motivated to teach victims and survivors of gender violence integrative tools to assist in their healing journey. She teaches trauma protocols for healthcare practitioners to work with gender violence victims. If you are interested in creating a holistic clinic for victims of gender violence please contact her.

She co-authored the clinical textbook “Marma Points of Ayurveda: Energy Pathways for Healing Body, Mind, and Consciousness; with a Comparison to Traditional Chinese Medicine” with her guru Dr. Vasant Lad in 2008 published by The Ayurvedic Press. She teaches workshops on acupressure for practitioners and laypersons to learn this ancient healing art and for victims to learn simple protocols to heal trauma.

As a survivor of gender violence, she is committed to inspiring women who live in oppression to know that they possess the power to break free. By using a holistic visionary approach, she believes vigorous education and outreach are necessary to address the politics of abuse and oppression of women worldwide. Within the South Asian community, she aims to create a collective voice for issues specific to this subgroup. Anisha is available for speaking engagements and healing trauma workshops.
